In short

We do not collect personal information. There are no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no user accounts. Everything runs on your own devices and your school's network, with one optional exception: power-loss alerts to staff phones, described below.

• Your schedules, music, announcements and settings stay on your iPad or iPhone (and any backup file you choose to make).
• The microphone is used only when you record a PA announcement. That audio is sent over your own local network to your own station — never to us or any third party.
• The browser control page is served by your own iPad on your own network. It does not pass through our servers.
• If you connect Apple Music, playback happens on your iPad under your own Apple Music subscription via Apple's MusicKit. We never see your Apple ID, your library, or your listening history.

Power-loss alerts (optional)

So staff phones can be told when the station iPad loses power, even when the app is closed, the app uses a small notification relay run by us. This is switched on by default and can be turned off on the iPad under Settings > Kiosk > Notify staff phones, and on each phone under More > Notifications. When it is on, only the following is sent:

• From the station iPad: a random station ID and key created by the app, the school name entered in the app, the app's language, and whether the iPad is on battery with its battery level (checked once a minute).
• From each paired staff phone: the station ID it is paired with, and the phone's Apple push notification token, so Apple can deliver the alert. Nothing else about the phone or its user.

This information is used only to send power and connection alerts to that school's own paired phones. It is never sold, shared, used for advertising or linked to any person. Alerts are delivered through Apple's Push Notification service. A phone's token is removed when it is unpaired, when notifications are switched off, or when Apple reports it is no longer valid. Like any internet service, our server sees the network address of each connection while handling it. To have a station's record removed, email us.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We do not receive or store your payment details.
